With gasoline prices at historic highs, alternative methods of getting around like walking and bicycling are difficult or unsafe on streets designed only to handle motor traffic. We can change that.
And while communities around the state are saving taxpayer dollars by collaborating with other jurisdictions, present township officials seem incapable of even beginning a dialogue with city and county officials. We can change that.
If elected I will encourage citizen participation and input in a broad range of discussions about the future of Union Township in moving us toward becoming a sustainable community, where we plan a future that provides us all with a better quality of life while maintaining the quality of our environment.

Friends and Neighbors,
I am running for Union Township Supervisor because I believe that our community could be better than it is if we work together to plan for a better more sustainable future for our children and grandchildren.
Union Township is privileged to be a growing community with neighborhoods that provide a pleasant quality of life for most township residents, but we are also a community that has changed dramatically.
I have heard from many of you that township government has not been responsive in addressing some of the problems related to growth and that decisions made years ago with little vision to the future now compound the difficulties. We can change that.
